Ponte da Barca hosts the 2nd edition of the Festival Itinerâncias from July to October
From July 2nd to October 15th, Ponte da Barca hosts the 2nd edition of the Itinerancy festival.
With an eclectic program, made up of emerging local and national bands, Itinerâncias takes on a more intimate character and in an acoustic format, taking to different places than usual (Coretos, Parish Council Headquarters, Castles or Parish Halls) music for all tastes : from Fado to Blues, from MPB to Folk, from Portuguese music to Funk/Soul, from Jazz to Rockabilly, from Rock to traditional music.
Itinerâncias is a Dédé Música project in partnership with Ponte da Barca City Council, with the objective of creating a new dynamic in the cultural offer, taking music to the various parishes of the county, in a logic of decentralization, training of audiences and promotion of the built heritage in each location.
The concerts are free of charge and access is subject to the rules imposed by the national health authorities regarding the current COVID-19 pandemic.
