António Félix da Costa (Jota) became world endurance champion, after placing third in the final race of the season, the 8 Hours of Bahrain.
The Portuguese driver, who started with a 28 point advantage, secured the title together with teammates Will Stevens and Roberto González, beating Oliver Jarvis, Alex Lynn and Josh Pierson (United Autosport).
The Cascais driver had already been Formula E champion, in 2020, the year in which Filipe Albuquerque won precisely the LMP2 “LE MANS” PROTOTYPE 2- FIA World Endurance championship.
