Alqueva reveals “archaeological treasures” in Redondo

Starting tomorrow, July 31, the exhibition Alqueva: Archeology on the New Paths of Water, will be at the Regional Wine Museum of Redondo.

This is a traveling exhibition, the result of EDIA’s investment in cultural heritage that has brought to light numerous archaeological remains preserved underground, most of them unknown to the scientific community, identified within the scope of the Environmental Impact Assessment processes , but mainly during the work of land mobilization, in the context of construction.

This exhibition results from a partnership between EDIA, the Luz Museum and the Redondo City Council and will be on display until the end of October 2021.

The Redondo Regional Wine Museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
