On the first three weekends of July, the Leiria festival A Porta is back. In its sixth edition, the festival aims to be a place where the city meets culture, its history and its memory.
Proposing a multiverse poster, which includes concerts, conversations, installations and cinema, A Porta will have as its central axis the Villa Portela space, to be occupied by a set of installations by local and national creators. Colectivo Til, ± MaisMenos ±, Tenório, Frame Colectivo and Patrick Hubmamn are the invited artists to create a route that will provide new stories and ideas for the space located in the heart of the city. The works, to be developed in artistic residency, will be based on ideas and proposals gathered from the local population over the past few months. You can consult the full schedule here.
A Porta 2021 will be free to enter, and a ticket reservation for each session through the event’s digital platforms is mandatory.
