    Portugal Wins 2 Bronze Medals, 23 Diplomas and beats 8 National records in Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games

    The Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games have ended. The closing ceremony held on the night of September 5 at Tokyo National Stadium closed the present edition of the world’s largest sport competition for people with disabilities. Norberto Mourão, bronze medalist in 200m VL2 canoeing, was the standard bearer of the national flag at the farewell event in the Japanese capital.

    Portugal ended its participation in these Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games with two bronze medals won by Miguel Monteiro in the launch of the F40 weight and Norberto Mourão in the 200m VL2 canoeing, 23 diplomas and 8 national records.

    The Portuguese mission leaves today, September 6, for Portugal and is scheduled to arrive at Humberto Delgado Airport, in Lisbon, on September 7 at 15:25 local hours on flight TK1759 from Istanbul.
