The North Music Festival (NMF) will return to Alfândega do Porto between September 30th and October 2nd. After having guaranteed the presence of Deftones, Waterboys and The Script, the festival has just confirmed four more bands that will integrate the lineup of the first day.
Moonspell, PAUS, Bizarra Locomotiva and Paraguaii are the national bands that will welcome festival-goers and take to the main stage of the event in what is its fourth edition.
With nearly three decades of existence, Moonspell will bring to the stage, with a privileged view of the Douro River, some of their greatest hits, such as “Opium” or “Alma Mater”, as well as themes from their most recent album “Hermitage”.
The organization of the NMF advances even though the first day of the festival will also feature songs from the latest work by PAUS (“YESS”); with the “scum” – legion of fans of the Bizarra Locomotiva – and the hits “O Anjo Exilado” or “Mortuário; and also a “voyage” to the sound of the trio Paraguaii, which includes musicians Giliano Boucinha, Zé Pedro Caldas and Rolando Ferreira.
The national bands join the North American headliner already confirmed for the 30th of September: Deftones. The band led by Chino Moreno will premiere their new album “OHMS” on stage at Alfândega do Porto.
Remember that what will be an “unpublished three-day issue” has already confirmed the international headliners The Script and The Waterboys (October 2nd).
In addition to music, and with the aim of providing an “unforgettable experience” to the public, the North Music Festival presents a diverse program, including boat trips on the Douro River with a DJ, a Sunset stage also with DJ, jam sessions, wine gardens and even dining areas full of the best street food.
The daily ticket costs 50 euros and the general pass will have a limited pre-sale value of 90 euros, and you can get them here
For the public who purchased tickets in 2020, they remain valid for the new dates now announced, taking into account the alignment of the poster.
“On the other hand, general pass holders (of two days last year) have an automatic upgrade, having access to the three days of the new edition, without any additional cost”, says Vibes & Beats, promoter of the festival.
In a statement, the organization of the North Music Festival says it is in constant contact and articulation with the General Directorate of Health, Government, local authorities and all competent entities, in order to ensure compliance with all guidelines for the event.
Vibes & Beats is also receiving counseling, from a private health entity, with a population medicine and public health unit, in the scope of data monitoring and evaluation.
