Alma d’Arame holds, from May 26 to June 6, the 13th Montemor-o-Novo International Puppet Meeting. Several spaces in Montemor-o-Novo are the stage of this International Meeting aimed at all audiences and which brings together companies and artists from France and Germany.
This 13th Meeting has a partnership that takes some of the international shows from Alma d’Arame to Teatro Ibérico in Lisbon, as an extension of the Montemor festival. Find out all the programming here.
Located in the Alentejo city of Montemor-o-Novo, Alma d´Arame intends to intervene in the areas furthest from access to the main axes of programming, promoting access to culture and art, as a form of social accessibility. Here, the aim is to enhance the heritage of traditional and contemporary puppets and promote culture with a transversal language between tradition and modernity.
