Sporting became national champion this Tuesday, after beating Boavista, in Alvalade, by 1-0.
It was Paulinho’s goal in the 36th minute of the match that allowed the Leon fans to celebrate the title today.
Sporting had won a championship for the last time 19 years ago, in 2002. Now, Rúben Amorim has made history again two days before the end of the Liga NOS.
